1. Current state: no analytics or advertising cookies
The current code does not install analytics, behavioural advertising, social-media pixels or cross-site tracking. It uses first-party technical storage for access, session, language, installation preferences and offline operation.
Because the current storage is necessary for a requested function or remembers a choice made directly by the user, no accept/reject banner is shown. The Google map is withheld until you explicitly ask to load it. Google Identity Services is loaded only on a membership access screen when the optional Google method is configured. If non-essential analytics or advertising is added, it must remain off until the policy and consent controls are updated.
2. Cookie and browser-storage inventory
| Name | Storage / duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| osc_gate | First-party secure HttpOnly cookie · up to 30 days · only while the construction password exists | Proves that the temporary construction password was entered. Its value is derived and does not contain the password. |
| osc_session | First-party secure HttpOnly cookie · up to 30 days | Keeps a signed-in member or staff session. It contains a signed technical token, not profile fields in readable form. |
| osc-lang | localStorage · until browser data is cleared | Remembers the ES/EN choice made by the user on this origin. |
| osc-greeted | sessionStorage · current browser session | Avoids replaying the introductory animation on every page. |
| osc-visits / osc-install-dismissed | localStorage · until browser data is cleared | Counts local PWA visits and remembers that the user dismissed the install invitation. |
| oceans.push.device | localStorage · until browser data is cleared | Opaque device identifier used only to enable or disable push on this browser without affecting another device. |
| __Host-osc_google_nonce | First-party secure HttpOnly cookie · up to 10 minutes · only when Google sign-in is available | Binds the Google ID token to the browser that requested the sign-in option and prevents cross-site login substitution. |
| Google Identity Services | Third-party script/request on member sign-in and signup screens when configured; storage and duration are controlled by Google | Draws the official Google button and returns the selected account’s signed identity credential after the user chooses it. |
| Google Maps (only after a click) | Third-party request; storage and duration are controlled by Google | Shows the interactive venue map only after the visitor asks to connect to Google. |
3. Offline cache and push notifications
The member PWA installs a service worker and an origin-scoped Cache Storage entry named with the current build version. It stores the public app shell, scripts, styles, fonts and images so the shell can open offline. API responses containing points, bookings or profile data are explicitly never cached.
Push is enabled only after the member asks for it and the browser grants permission. The browser/operating-system push provider then handles an encrypted subscription endpoint. Disabling push removes the server-side subscription; clearing site data removes local identifiers and caches.
4. How to control or delete storage
- Use the member-app control to turn push notifications off for this device.
- Use browser settings to view or clear cookies, site data, local storage and offline caches for oceanssocialclub.com.
- Blocking osc_session prevents signed-in member/admin use. Blocking osc_gate prevents access while the construction password remains enabled.
- Clearing osc-lang resets the language choice; clearing the install keys may make the PWA invitation eligible again.
5. Legal framework and changes
Spanish law allows storage without prior consent when it is strictly necessary to provide a service explicitly requested by the user. The Spanish Data Protection Agency also treats a language preference chosen by the user as technical personalisation when it is not reused for another purpose.
This inventory must be reviewed whenever a vendor, script, embedded map, analytics tool or marketing integration changes. Non-essential technologies will require a real choice before they run.
